Waiting for Tables

Waiting for Tables is a short zine documenting a weekend in the life of a server at Ponderosa Social, a new restaurant in Bozeman, MT. Each spread includes a paragraph highlighting the odd but interesting conversations and events that occurred that night, a record of hours worked, tables served, and tips made, and a vintage paper doll inspired illustration. This zine was created using a Risograph printer, which uses stencils and soy-based inks to create prints with a unique look and feel. Ink colors are limited so multiple layers at different opacities were used to create the desired hues needed for this design.
